Day 1

Warmly welcome you at Bandaranayake International Air port, with refreshments travel to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. The orphanage was primarily designed to afford care and protection to the baby elephants found in the jungle without their mothers. Next proceed to Golden Temple at Dambulla, It is the home to the World’s most acclaimed Cave complex of magnificent Buddha Images and Rock Paintings.

Overnight Stay in Dambulla.

Day 2

After having early breakfast at 7.30am, visit Sigiriya Fortress- Sigiriya is an archeological site in the North Central Sri Lanka. It contains the ruins of an ancient palace complex. One of the seven world heritage sites in Sri Lanka. After visit fortress visitors can have optional “Ayurvedic Spa Treatment” here.

Proceed to Polonnaruwa- One of the ancient kingdoms of the island, this was the capital of the north central province for 3 centuries, Polonnaruwa reached its zenith Under King Parakramabahu (1153–86). The king erected huge buildings, planned beautiful parks and, as a crowning achievement.

Overnight stay at the same place in Dambulla.

Day 3

After the breakfast visit Ancient city of Anuradhapura- This was the first ancient kingdom established in Sri Lanka. A corner of the ‘cultural triangle’ and is widely considered the birthplace of Buddhism in the country. Anuradhapura is a truly remarkable city complete with the best of wildlife, irrigational network and world acclaimed historic monuments. Farming is the main source of living here and it is the home to a modest farming in community.

Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

Day 4

After taking the breakfast visit Mihintale- Via Trincomalee.

Mihintale is an important tourist destination in Sri Lanka, especially for pilgrim travelers. Mihintale mountain peak located 13 km away from Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka, believed to be the meeting point between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and who introduced Buddhism to Sri Lanka and king Devanampiyatissa.

Overnight Stay in Trincomalee.

Day 5

In Trincomalee, Kanniya Hot water springs have a history from the King Rawana era. Kinniya new bridge is currently the longest bridge in Sri Lanka. Pigeon Island is located around 1 km away from the calm and quit sandy Nilaveli beach. This consists of two islands, one is small and other is larger in size. This is one of the best places to see corals.

Overnight Stay in Trincomalee.

Day 6

After taking the breakfast, in the morning leave for Colombo. Check in at you hotel on arrival, after some well-deserved rest you can do some sightseeing or shopping in the commercial city of Colombo.

Upon conclusion of the excursion, return to the airport
